Berggasthaus Holzegg

Went there with a friend last thursday cause we wanted to get out of the fog. Walked up from the Village out of the shade into the sun and were stunned by the view on the huge deck of the restaurant. We were the only guests at the time (11:10am, offseason tho), we ordered a alc free Beer and a Water at first, but decided to stay for lunch since it was very warm on comfy. Had Älplermacaroni for luch with Applesauce. The food was okay.

Really recommend this place. Very friendly and fast service. Fine food and quite large portions. Very reasonable prices for the location. Astonishingly, it was not very crowded, although we visited on a Saturday.

Very great guesthouse, friendly staff, lovingly designed rooms (including bathrobe). Food very fine. Breakfast rich with local products. Would love to come back. Thanks to the team for the uncomplicated stay.

Super nice service, we were hiking and enjoyed the break with a delicious sausage/cheese salad.

Worth a trip on foot or by gondola.
