I have stayed at the Resterhohe 3 years in a row now, most recently last weekend, and what started out as an already great guesthouse, has gotten and keeps getting better. It is ski in ski out, one has to take a lift, then ski...down to the entrance, but they can also come and get you in a ski doo, either from the top or the bottom of the lift. I would say, this isn't luxury accommodation, the regular rooms have cozy bunk beds (built into the wall, not rickety) and they are decorated fairly traditionally too. There are also 2 apartments, which are much more modern, clad mostly in untreated pine. These are en suite, the other rooms have a sink, but there are plenty of individual shower rooms...
Wir sind eher durch Zufall auf diese Hütte gestoßen, als wir nach einem mittäglichen Treffpunkt gesucht haben.Das Essen auf der Hütte war wirklich ausgezeichnet und frisch angerichtet. Der Service war sehr gut und äußerst freundlich.Die Preise sind für die Lage und Qualität angemessen.Besonders die Lage der Hütte ist wirklich schön, sie liegt wenige Meter abseits der Talabfahrtspiste der Resterhöhe und ist sehr gut ausgeschildert. Da die Hütte eben nicht direkt an der Piste liegt gab es auch an einem sonnigen Samstag genügend Platz in den Liegestühlen.Kurzum ein sehr lohnenswerter Besuch.
excellent location start skiing directly from the door, perfect ski area. The cottage is very nice with snow exceptional views of the valley it is a classic design, very cozy, modern, equipped with lounge, gym, sauna, hot tub, wifi, tw, many...games for the children. they have slender types of winter equipment sled, ski boots, skidoos, etc. great breakfast buffet, afternoon snack, super evening meal. and the crew is extremely service oriented, very nice also to our children. all in all a little paradies in the mountains.
we loved the feeling of this place and it's embarrassed. would be brilliant to stay here - looks like it has great facilities and a beautiful lounge. rustic charm in full. we had several drinks- tee was a little strange as tea leaves are served separately. I did not know until I would drink hot water quite weakly! otherwise usual schnapps, weep, beer and hot drinks with a limited but well presented and very nicely cooked selection of food. we had the Spinat dumplings.

great place to hide while snowing and cold outside. beautiful stubs with a kamin and a regal to dry her geared. eating is really well cooked and delicious. this is a cozy hut, nothing like some of the mass foods....We enjoyed coming back and sitting outside in the sun as much as we have inside. our favourite cottage in our week of kitzski
Grossartiges Essen! Hier wird doch tatsächlich alles selber produziert. Selbst der jagertee, ein Genuss. Ich hatte einmal kässpätzle. Klasse! Und einmal blunzgröstl. Oder so ähnlich. Gröstl mit blutwurst und leberwurst. Mhmmmmm. Wirklich lecker. Mal was anderes. Vielen Dank und weiter so!
eating was really good, but the server accused us too much money. Unfortunately, we only found this out after. the server also just went away with our change and told us he cured it was a tip. we plan to typ, but not. after this stunted.
A meal at this place is amazing. Amazing traditional Austrian food, and the Kaiseshmann is specially delicious. This is not only a restaurant, but also a fabulous hotel, well up high in the Austrian alps at about 1700 metres.

Essen bei uns immer prima, sehr gemütlich, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr gute Lage. Wir haben mal gleich einen Skiurlaub für das kommende Jahr gebucht!
Title says it all! This a fantastic pan dish which will give you enough energy to go wild on the slopes when eaten as lunch.
