"We drove out of Gleisdorf in the afternoon and drove back. You drive through the landscape was spectacular, both going and coming home. The restaurant has tables outside and inside. The afternoon was hot, but not too hot to sit outside. We shared an appetizer that was bread with several traditional spreads, including one with pumpkin seed oil, and another with bacon fat. For the main course I had the potato sausage with sauerkraut. Then to dessert a traditional dish with a fruit sauce made from local plums, which dipped for a pancake like bread. We drove up from Gleisdorf in the afternoon taking back roads. They drive through the countryside was spectacular, both going out and coming home. The restaurant has tables outside as well as inside. The afternoon was hot, but not too hot to sit outside. We shared an appetizer which was bread with several traditional spreads including one made with pumpkin seed oil, and another with bacon grease.
