Unfortunately, the holiday was an absolute disaster. Uralte, neat room. Bath a plastic nose cell, grayish. Eating far away from good kitchen tasted after finishing, gave 3x in a row of fried stuff, nothing fresh, nothing cooked. The only beautiful is actually the location with the beautiful view of the little village below and that you can walk behind the hotel well with the dogs directly. The Ore Mountains may see me again, but certainly not this hotel. With such bad services, the Ryan Air principle is also followed and every little thing does not cost much extra. Delightful stay at Berghotel Steiger I was recently at Berghotel Steiger and must unfortunately say that my stay was disappointing. The rooms were dirty and absent, which severely affected the overall impression. In addition, breakfast was inconsistent on a day there was scrambled eggs, but not the next day. The presentation of the dishes left to wish and the selection was rather limited and sweet. Although the food was expensive, I could live with it as it was at least right. Only the master of the house was very dedicated to the well-being of his guests. I hope Berghotel Steiger works on these points to improve his service. Unfortunately, I cannot make a positive assessment at the moment.
We had booked the dog birthday offer. The rooms are quite old and with carpeted floors, which is rather bad with dogs. It's renovated. Otherwise, I am absolutely thrilled. Here the dog is as important as we humans. Our 3rd course menu was very good and that for my dog has also tasted it very much. The food on the menu also sounded very delicious, I would have liked to try. The highlight was of course the dog cakes for the birthday. I'll be happy to remember that for a long time. Otherwise there is a fenced dog playground, we still had a dog massage. Towels to the pony are clean in the entrance area, as well as a bowl in the room. Was a successful short holiday.
We stayed with our dog at the dog hotel for lunch and were the only guests in the restaurant. The food was good, but actually we wanted to look at the hotel to spend a short holiday there in autumn. For dinner we sat on the terrace. It was a warm day not to see a drinking bowl for dogs wide and wide. Even after placing the food order, no water was brought for our dog. In general, our dog was ignored all the time. Sorry, but this should be a dog hotel!? Where no one is interested in the dog guest? We won't make a holiday there with our dog.

My Bexxter and I spent a very nice short holiday in this hotel. The rooms are well furnished and functional. Eating is first class on request will be discussed individually. The staff is very friendly and you always have an open ear for questions and problems. My dog also found it very nice here. We had booked the dog birthday and I must say the day was celebrated with a lot of love and the cake was a dream. We will come back in any case and RECOMMEND this hotel very much. Thank you.
All I have to do about our 3 day stay has already been mentioned in the detailed reports with the lowest ratings. The criticism of 5 years ago was apparently attempted to counteract by “specialising” on dog owners. But even our dog had much more beautiful holidays elsewhere. The price-performance ratio is not true at all. Never again will we make a holiday at this hotel and unfortunately we cannot recommend it to anyone.
Very happy with everything. Nothing to complain about cleanliness and service. Dogs are very welcome and the staff has made all preparations for dog visits. Very friendly people. The breakfast buffet is rich, something for every taste. Also the food at the restaurant was very delicious. Lastly the view: a fantastic view of the illuminated windows of the city in the dusk. We like to come back to find peace.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. At the food service very well, dogs are very welcome. Rooms are good, mattress was totally crazy. I heard this from several of our group, so 1st draw. Excursions to the city and surroundings are highly recommended! Whoever seeks peace and seclusion is right here. Also highly recommended for families with children and dogs!
