Seit dem Wirtewechsel waren wir schon ein paar Mal wieder im Vogelberg und sind etwas enttäuscht. Beim vorletzten Mal war die Chässchnitte trocken, ohne Weisswein (auf der Speisekarte ist er aufgeführt). Kann passieren. Einmal ist keinmal...Das letzte Mal hatten sie auf der Webseite eine spezielle Wildkarte mit unter anderem Risotto ai Fungi, den ich bestellte. Die Bestellung wurde kommentarlos aufgenommen. Was dann kam, war Risotto Milanese. Auf meine erstaunte Nachfrage hiess es, sie hätten nur diesen. Von den Anpreisungen im Internet wusste der Mitarbeiter nichts. Ich habe den Teller dann halt genommen. Da der Wirt lange im Tessin war, erwartete ich einen guten Risotto, doch dem war leide...
Sorry Leute aber Bewirten von zahlenden Gästen geht anders. Die etwas Chaotische Angelegenheit an einem Sonntag bei schönem Wetter? Keine Terrasse bereit, dass Personal nicht bereit da ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Vor allem bei diesen Preisen ein kleines Cola (ohne Glas) 5.Fr. Eine Bratwurst welche übrigens gut war nur etwas zu wenig gebraten für 14. wohl verstanden ohne Beilagen. Da wäre noch der Umgangs Ton des Wirtes, na ja auch daran kann man sich gewöhnen muss aber nicht . Liebe Corona geplagte Wirte Ihr habt nur ein Restaurant der Gast aber viele denkt daran.

the enthusiasm and culinary expertise of yasmine and their team are excellent! the sausage, the sauce and the roasted potato are savory and tasteful. we have appreciated the opportunity to eat and visit with yasmine at lunchtime. my man and I were from Texas with very little. know the opposite, yasmine was welcoming and helpful. the restaurant is located on the hiking trail, please take the opportunity for a drink, snack or meal. you will not be disappointed! friendly staff, good price, but very small portions. the vogelberg cold meat plate at 19 francs unfortunately had very little on it. the same with the risotto for 20 francs. good value is the Cordon-Bleu. it was delicious. on the other side is the terrace...beautiful! it takes 50 minutes to hike back to the main railway station when water falls.
