I've eaten here three times and although it's undeniably a quality restaurant, I fail to see why people like it as much as they do; I really don't like the dining room, it seems dingy and lacks atmosphere. I always feel like I'm gatecrashing someone's home when arriving, weird vibe, not negative just odd. The salmon tartare is a dish that seems very popular but for me it's busy and has too many capers and too much mayo. The steak I had was all dressed up with fois gras and other unnecessary accompaniments that detract from what a steak is supposed to be. In fact all the meals I've had here were fussy and didn't really know what they wanted to be; too many ingredients all vying for your palle...
From the doorway, we find "the restaurant" as we loved it at the time of Sunday's lunches at the "replacement" of the village. everything is in place, the welcome and his daily abates, the boss and his discreet hello. the accompaniment to the table by the rank leader, a great professionalism throughout the service, felt is the atmosphere but the decors lend themselves to it. an expo of good taste allows to feast the eye of paintings as much as the dishes that are served us. business, families, love this place is all indicated. ratio quality price nothing to say, the chief justifies his invoice.
back from vacation looking for a place to lunch, we leave the highway and we discover this restaurant whose facade a little "kitch" we intrigues. Warm, pleasant,menus welcome at reasonable prices for such a refined cuisine, the products are of qualities, the plates shown the impeccable service. We'll be back,bravo to the whole team.
good catellerault restaurant, warm welcome and excellent service; We'll even keep you the wine. Felt and elegant atmosphere. The dishes are fine and copyy! very good times fat, but too copyy in input. The fish, sandy, was good but we smell too much vinegar in the sauce. The rest, nothing to say, is a restaurant to recommend.

c is my favorite restaurant on châtellerault. The reception is nice. the server connoisseurs his card whether it's menus or wines. The card is different every time I go. every meal, I get satisfied and my husband too because he's pretty dazzling on the restaurants that say they're refined
reception and service pleasant and efficient products of very good qualityplates with a preference for the pigeon, the risotto of St jacques and in a general way for the fish. The desserts are tops: chocolate melting, enjoying...A real delight!
W were expecting more of a fine dinning experience when we looked at the menu. The menu over sells what you actually receive on the plate. Service is friendly and polite.
we were surprised by the qualite of the meal, the amuses mouth the mignardises with the coffee and all for 16 euros flat entrance or 18 euros flat dessert .....
