One of my favorite French restaurants in Connecticut. It's definitely fancier than most restaurants I go to so make sure to dress up. The prices I felt were reasonable for a nice date night. The service is always great. The wait staff are always attentive. The lemon tart for dessert is really sour! Just a little heads up, I enjoyed it a lot but the tartness caught me by surprise. The duck dishes here are always amazing. It's definitely a drive for us but totally worth it.
As I remember it from my last visit pre COVID, not great. Food is okish. Trying to too much as opposed to focusing on strengths. Service c-.Get it’s hard to hire good talent. Bernard’s has definitely not cracked the code. Wished this place was better. Stick to Lucs.

"I had to have some chicken nuggets and fries, and they still have the best fries in my opinion. Make sure to always double-check your order before leaving the counter or drive-thru, so you don't realize later that something is missing. You should know better."
