I LOVE this place! Me and my daughter call it “our” place because we love not ever go together! We went for breakfast. I got the full English that was PERFECT egg was cooked amazingly! My daughter had the pancakes with it being pancake day and she said they were delicious staff were so friendly too! Didn’t get his name but the guy with a bald head (sorry) he was super the bald head suits you tbh! They have books, toys and a comfy atmosphere! I could have stayed all day! Definitely a place to buy a coffee and get stuck into a book, prices were Bob on for what you get! Thanks guys we will be back to
Really poor, was asked whether any dietary requirements but not told that they had no draught beer and almost no bottled or canned either. No table service, have to order at the bar and pay as you go rather than opening a tab for the table. Service at the bar slow as only one serving and another 2 'looking ' busy. Ordered food and had to pay up front again, much like a greasy spoon cafe. Been here before and it was alright, but seems to have gone down hill. The other Lounge in Cheadle is much better and has much better service and food. Won 't be going back!
Had work Christmas meal here. Christmas menu poor but hoped food would be ok. Service very slow. Sprouts were dirty and rock hard, assume no attempt to cook at all. 2 dirty carrots, 1 onion not trimmed and tiny cold dollop of mash. I commented on it to waiter and I got the impression not the first comment he'd had! All our table left veg. Pie was average but at least warm. Though saying that, it's all I ate but stomach has not been good since. Sorry to say I've had already and feel sicky. First visit but won't go here again!
My wife and I visited for her birthday breakfast and when asked by a waitress about her day she said it was great and her birthday. Half way through our meal she came back with a card and two cocktails! What a nice gesture. We always enjoy visits but especially this one. The food is great too. We have visited the one in Glossop and it’s the same experience.

At short notice they were able to look after our party of 9. Was for a birthday celebration and they really pulled out the stops-free cocktail and a card to say happy birthday. We have been there before as food is great value and the kids love it but will definitely be returning now. Thanks for a great night!
Visited last minute on a busy weekday evening. The staff worked quickly and efficiently to serve food, drinks and clear the tables around us. Food was really tasty and plenty of choice for dietary requirements or fussy eaters. A really nice and chilled atmosphere. Will definitely visit again and recommend.
Every single time I go to this restaurant the cutlery is dirty and the glasses have stains on them. Baring in mind I have been about 15-20 times as my partner likes to go before we go to the cinema. Food is so overpriced too for what you get. Nice looking place but food needs improving.
Excellent decor very clean and smiley friendly staff, first time visit had a bacon buttie and coffee, bacon was very tasty, but coffee could be better perhaps need change brand use.

Fave place for food, especially as a vegetarian as there are soooo many options. Also the best coffee I’ve ever had. Staff are always so welcoming.
Good vegan selections. Service quick Nice relaxed atmosphere. Good place for friends to meet and catch up over dinner. Good value for money
