treated as royal guests, as other guests appeared. service was exemplary. in good time contacted the hotel as I had not clarified bed choice. reception was very friendly and welcoming. room beautifully presented, recently renovated and spacious with high quality comfortable furniture. bed really king size (7' . like a protocol sleep and to complete it, stay a dinner long in memory. quality of cooking superb, chateaubriand with dauphinkartoffeln and triple chips all to die and the sauces made them feel in the sky. I know I'm going on, but it was really so good with nice attentive service through our waiter. Price/quality ratio in excellent way.

I called here for coffee/coffee after the dog race. developed to find our cocksuckers, was made welcome with dog cookies and bowl water. coffee and eating were excellent. we were in the main reception area, which was beautiful and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. good old fashion service was obvious, not something that is always available in operated. would be highly recommended and looking forward to my next visit.

fantastic hotel in the middle of Grantham with the most beautiful mix of medieval history and pleasant, comfortable and impeccable rooms. the breakfast is perfect, served in the amazing dining room (see photos,) where they can sit in a window alcove and watch the busy street below. the staff is very friendly and helpful. we left such a positive feeling. sure each of the five review stars and worth every penny we have spent!

you have to go to Sunday dinner. withworkers are 1. we had a fantastic, freshly cooked lunch. 5 also taste it. chef made the chef proud with what they cook in the kitchen. very clean restaurant can not mistake it. the price was very competitive especially for high quality food. try it out that they are not disappointed. outstanding

Visited with the family for mothers day and had the set menu. Food was good; we were all happy with all three courses. Service was great and the staff were pleasant and very attentive. Great building.. love the history. Good stuff
