when we look at the reviews, this place seems to be hit or missing, but we can say that where we are very happy with our eating. the curry lambs were amazing, super delicate with a beautiful smooth masamonic curry. well connected with cocostry. the deep roasted whole barramundi was really nice to add our meal a crispy texture. it had the right amount of spices and was not too difficult to handle when it came to the bones. the service was ok, but they sometimes seemed a little short staff. Owner is plain rude. We did not book however was completely empty - raining outside.
Owner refused to allow us to sit inside - was arrogant and insisted that the tables were book.
In the end we sat outside, the food was tasteless - when drinks were served, the glasses we received were less than 200ml for a $4 soft drink.
Food was tasteless and bland.. would not recommend!

Betong has a great selection of authentic Thai with a number of western friendly Thai and south East Asian dishes. This is the second time I've eaten here and both times I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality.

Not a bad restaurant however there are better options in the valley. Pretty prompt take away service so I can't comment on the restaurant table service. Spicy chicken I had was well worth it. Would be back if I was dining at Portside.

hammers hometown thai generally served a beautiful Thai feed with a cold chang my favorites are here the crispy fish fillet with the apfel coleslaw salat or try all the crispy fried fish it delish
Absolutely disgusting food, worst I have ever had . DO NOT GO THERE!!! THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT MUST CHECK THIS PLACE IMMEDIATELY!!!! Very disappointed
