I (and my wife) have been a great fan of this little chocolate shop for a decade or more (see also my review of August 2020). I had always been prepared to pay their prices for a sweet treat. 50 euros per visit was pretty much the standard spending, in 2020 (the first year of Covid-19, in case anyone had forgotten) we must have spent close to 500 euros here. With the exception of one member of staff, a young-ish man who always greeted me with a smile and a little small talk, none of the others would ever acknowledge that I had been to the shop before. Mrs Corallo in particular served me with such a chill, I wished I could have harvested and used it to keep the chocolates cool on my three hou...

Although I don’t live in Lisbon I would claim to be a regular customer here. The quality and variety of chocolates on offer is amazing. They range from pink white chocolates with cranberries to toffee with sea salt and pure 100 per cent dark chocolate (not for the faint hearted, I would say). They have done a brilliant job during the last few months to keep their business going, and they deserve to be supported. Try the white choc with pistachio, and the toffee with sea salt choc your heart will melt!

The sign in the window said “chocolate shop” . I couldn’t resist. We stumbled upon this place walking around and once inside realized how well known it is. They have had several well deserved reviews which are posted inside. I had a delicious decaf cappuccino with a 75% chocolate sample. The place has 3 small tables for about 6 people total. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I just returned to this wonderful place and sent a friend in a faraway country a picture of the rich and flavorful hot chocolate here. His retort: the best hot chocolate in the world! I have to agree. This place is a gem and chocolate aficionado 's delight. The Corallo family are beyond sweet, and it 's a go-to place, recommended to all as a must-do when in Lisbon. We were staying nearby for a week and came in the shop most days, usually to enjoy a variety of their 70% bars, which rank with the best in our world, including the major cities of Europe. The star is the chocolate, which is delightfully yielding, especially if freshly created. There's a joy in eating chocolate in the small scale place where it was made.

Best place for a shot of hot cocoa anywhere in lisbon! Ordered the small hot cocoa shot and it was great european drinking chocolate 70% dark chocolate. Amazing! I also bought a few excellent small chocolate bars. If you like chocolate this place is excellent!

This place has all the chocolate options anyone can think of. Had a single chocolate bar with nuts and it was really smooth and full of taste. The nuts were very well roasted and gave him a crunchy case. A place for chocolate lovers.

Simply one of the best coffee shop of Lisbon, not for the setting, but for the quality of the coffee, although the best is by far the chocolate, among which cacao sorbet is absolutely amazing Reserva una mesa ahora

The shop is rather small so in Covid times it can be tricky. The quality of the chocolate is exceptional. Competent service. Lovely packages.
