Obwohl auf der Homepage steht, dass Hunde willkommen sind, wurden wir aus dem Lokal geworfen, weil er keinen Beißkorb trug und einmal bellte! So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt!! Naja nicht umsonst wurde Wien zur unfreundlichsten Stadt gewählt! Bier Bierli ist das beste Beispiel! Nie nie wieder, auch ohne Hund betrete ich dieses Lokal nie wieder! Ich kann ohne Gastro sehr gut leben, aber die Gastro ohne Gäste nicht! Und ein Hund der einmal bellt und sonst brav unterdem Tisch liegt ist mir wesentlich lieber, als Menschen, die laut reden und telefonieren und sich beim Nießen die Hand nicht vorhalten!!
A friend recommended this place to me. They have quite a lot of beer options and the place was pretty cosy. Ordered a Wiener schnitzel (veal one finally), pretty nice and can tell difference from pork schnitzel. But about €23 for only the schnitzel, you pay extra for sides and spaces (excluding the cranberry sauce). They have quite a choice of Austrian beer from the cask. I choose the Gösser (ight beer) and Edelweiss (wheat beer) both where good. I recommend coming here. I didn't make a reservation but luckily got a seat. Staff are nice. But watch out, they add 10% service charge onto the bill.

So was habe ich noch nie gesehen! naja nicht für nichts wurde als die unfreundlichste Stadt gewählt! bier bierli ist das beste Beispiel! nie wieder, auch ohne Hund, Ich betrete das nie wieder lokal! Ich kann ohne Gastro gut leben, aber der Gastro ohne Gäste! und ein Hund, der einmal glättet und sonst unter dem Tisch liegt, ist viel besser für mich als Menschen, die laut sprechen und sich anrufen und nicht aufhören, die Hand zu essen!
On a recent visit to Vienna, we ran in here after experiencing a thunderstorm. It was welcoming and a nice place to keep dry !We had a large Alt Brunner and a similar sized Edelweiss weisbeir. Both were served well in their individually marked glasses, by a friendly barman, at just short of 4 Euro each.Good place to start out trip to this city, and worth a visit if you find yourself in need of refreshments near to the Opera or Karlsplatz. A great experience! We had: Geröstete Knödel (our favourite), Viennese onion roast (real good) and Traditional Val Gardena. Then to dessert: cake, apple strudel and roast pancakes with apple sauce and chocolate. All 3 Dessert sincerely suggested they were delicious. We drank 3 small beers. Total was about 87€. The staff was very nice and the service was very good.
Read about this place online and thought we'd give it a go. Good beer, like most places in Vienna. Friendly staff sat us down, joked around and made us feel welcome. Food options were decent. Nice condensed menu of Viennese cuisine and veggie options which was welcomed by my wife. Didn't expect too much but when the food came out it was stunning.
Stumbled upon this place on our first night in Vienna.Like everything in Vienna it wasn't cheap for what you actually get.The food was lovely and service was prompt and pleasant just quite pricey for a pub style restaurant.The decor is pretty cool with the beer cans and the place has a good atmosphere.Good Food, Good Service but pricey.
this brewery is located opposite the motel one in which we lived!Very nice personal, charming place with everywhere hanging beer cans! we have eaten to the evening with pork and calfscarf (a kind of panned carving!,) and I would say excellent, generous portions and exquisite beer! great white carving and great beer! ideal for eating well and spending the right amount. historical brewery, the only lack of my opinion is the lack of air conditioning that impairs the possibility of staying in the room for a very high heat. for the rest it is really great!
