Went there for the Super Bowl. Positives: throughout the booking process all the staff were helpful and communicative with prompt responses; loads of screens to watch the football on; a good atmosphere; on paper the food menu was ideal for a sports bar; steins are a nice size option to have. Negatives: bought the £35 package and really not sure what exactly we got for the extra money?; tables were packed in, it was difficult getting to the tables in the middle and I was painfully crushed up against our table whenever anybody squeezed past behind me; table service disappeared after the first round of drinks; the pre ordered food, which was fairly average, was delivered before half our group h...
This place was so unfair to me, they made me come back thrice all because of their bad service. I came on Sunday 15/09/2024 evening for my free food and they sent me back because they were having an event. Then I came back on Monday but I forgot the slip that home but I had it snapped on my phone, and even when I came on Sunday, I showed the worker that sent me back in person, but they said I couldn’t have my food, so I went home to get it and come back just for the manager to open his mouth and tell me that kitchen close by 8, so I should come back another day, after all the stress, frustration and unnecessary expenses they put me through. I would honestly not recommend here for anyone else...
Got absolutely scammed on the cocktails. The drinks menu said that 2 cocktails are £15 upon ordering I got charged £19. The explanation I got was that that's a week day offer and that they were waiting for the new menus. Apparently they keep the same menus on the weekend to lure you in to order them. Then I decided to order a stein cocktail, an Long Island. I got served an unknown mixture from an unbranded bottle. I was told by staff that that's their gin, rum and tequila mixture (whatever that means). The atmosphere was great and the food looked lovely. Would not recommend ordering cocktails, stick with pints and neat drinks!!!
Went to the new comedy store here. Bar was mucky, glasses not clean, had to go to another bar for red wine, first glass was off, returned it, Second glass was marginally better. Just left it. Service was slow. Ordered chicken wings,came out to table with no offer of sauce or napkins etc. asked and waitress was happy to help. The toilets are, erm, like an abandoned and vandalised building. Avoid at all costs The atmosphere was the best part, the location is good. The comedy night was fun. Maybe the bar was just an off night avoid the loo’s?!

Horrendously treated by a member of staff/shocking customer service. Doormen did not listen to what really happened and decided to attempt to assault me using excessive force when I decided to leave anyway. Completely Unacceptable. No issue at this venue for over a decade but will not be returning and lodging serious complaint in due course as NOBODY treats me like this and IF they do then will go through the right channels, i.e management and directors. Place has gone seriously downhill anyway so good riddance.
Visited yesterday 24.2.24 in all my years of drinking in bars I have never been in such a dirty disgusting public toilet no toilet seats no toilet roll urine on the floor and a toilet with a explosion of excrement in the bowl inspite of cleaner being on site I would never visit the bierkeller manchester again clearly a management review needs to be addressed.
Good food but the service is very hit and miss. We had out food delivered with no explanation to what was what and had a few missing items. We walked in and managed to get a table straight away. The cocktails are really nice but the service is very slow in the evening as there was only one person on the bar making cocktails for everyone.
Booked tickets for comedy, emailed correct email address as per booking email, requested (within period in terms and conditions) to get credit or refund, weeks passed and not even acknowledgement! Avoid!!! £40 lost

Really cool place to watch sports. Cheap deals on drinks. Toilets are a bit grim but otherwise a really great venue
