The place does not look extremely attractive from outside, but this is compensated by a great and friendly service (even if your German/Austrian is not high quality), by some fresh and tasty food and some very good beer. We had and recommend the Wiener Schnitzel that has been cooked on the spot by the lady owner and served with french fries and salad. We liked also the draft Haselbräu Helles beer with a very distinct taste. We enjoyed both the dinner and the price.

This restaurant serves typical Austrian fare, so you will get your sausages and schnitzels. The salads are dependable, as always in Austria. But the main courses large and fatty. Too big, and too much of oil to be healthy.The price level is very moderate, the service is friendly and the bier is very good.But the main course is enough. Just skip the appetizer. Or just take the appetizer, and skip the main.

We took the previous posters advice and rode our bikes down from the train station. Short coast on back streets and we were rewarded with a truly local experience. Great drinks, great food, great price. Owner took special interest in us and made sure our food and service was excellent.

Enjoyed the lunch special "Chicken on a stick" with soup salad and French fries. It's a small place but food is very very good.

You get home made down home Austrian cooking here and friend you will leave ver satisfied and very full.
