Whenever I’m in Blaine, I’d always see Big Al’s Diner and wondered if it is any good. After picking up my new Dragon APSx goggles from Blaine, I finally decided to come by for a late breakfast. I ordered Big Al’s corned beef hash because it was the only highlighted item on the breakfast menu, and it was delicious. Unlike most corned beef hashes out there, it wasn’t too greasy nor too salty. I drive a Semi and had the opportunity to drop the trailer at the customer. I came here to try something different and new. Let me just say, for the Service, Jackie was awesome! It’s hard to find good service nowadays. Not one moment did my coffee get low nor did I have to ask for a top off. She suggested the French toast and I took that. Being a truck driver, I’ve had many breakfasts across the country, but this plate was amazing! Fluffy toast with powder sugar, the eggs were exactly perfect (over easy) done with very runny yolks. During a recent visit, despite the unexpected power outage, the staff stayed incredibly attentive and efficient. From the moment we walked in, we were well-informed about any delays, and we never felt neglected throughout our time there. The food was not only delicious but also perfectly portioned. The waitstaff consistently checked on our water and coffee without us having to ask. I look forward to dining there again. Excellent job!

This is a typical American diner. I usually stop here for breakfast when I cross the border early in the morning. The food isn't anything extraordinary, but it meets my expectations for a diner, so I can't really complain. If I didn’t enjoy classic diner fare, I probably wouldn’t choose to stop here.
Breakfast was awesome! I eat out at different restaurants every day as I'm on the road and rate this as one if the best breakfast experiences I've ever had. Server was friendly and quick. Food was fast and delicious.
