My husband and I went to Big Bad Breakfast for brunch. We were not impressed. It seems to cater towards tourists with the prices. The portion sizes do not live up to the name of the restaurant. I ordered the big bad breakfast skillet and was underwhelmed by the portion size. It was tasty but not $15 worth of food. I also had a cup of cofee that cost about $4.50, I could see if it was good quality coffee but it wasn't. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles but the chicken didn't taste like it was seasoned. The waitress seemed like she wasn't feeling well or was tired. She barely interacted with us and never asked my husband if he wanted a refill on his water. He ended up drinking some of...

BBB is the only place I've seen locally that serves tomato gravy. Give it a try if you go. That said, the breakfast here was average. The biscuit was more dense than I prefer. I like mine light and fluffy. I had the Breakfast Crumble, and the tomatogravy is what made it good. The eggs were perfectly poached. I didn't care for the crispy hash cake. It was also too dense in myopinion. My husband loves sausage gravy but didn't eat much of it. It reminded me more of a sawmill gravy. He didn't like theflavor of the bacon, either. The pancake was ok, but the syrup was not good at all. It will do if you are hungry and in thearea. I would not drive or walk out of my way for it.
Very busy. Expensive. Mediocre food. There's really nothing special about this place. The plating of food is a mess. My dish, the redneck benny, looked more like a train wreck. One of the people in the party ordered some sort of spicy morning drink. It's served with a slice of bacon and okra sitting on top. ????I died laughing when I saw that monstrosity. If you want some good ole redneck cuisine with a side of indigestion, this is your place.
I have been here many times. The food is usually very good. We had the shrimp and grits and French toast. Both tasted good. I also had the big bad breakfast. I-was so disappointed- everything was cold and looked like leftovers.I didn’t eat it and told the waiter. He took it off the bill. The waiter was very nice and attentive.Atmosphere is nice. Kid friendly. Dog friendly outside area.Parking is hard to find. Reserva una mesa ahora
Absolutely awesome. Have tried to go here for brunch a few times now but the wait is almost always over 30 minutes on the weekend, and now I see why. So far, this is the best breakfast I?ve had in CHS. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Thedrinks were great, although they were out of ingredients to make bloodys, which was disappointing. The food was AMAZING, and Ican?t wait to go back again.
The Food was delicious ? The jelly was made from scratch and I had the peach jelly. SOOO GOOD! The peppered biscuit was unlike any I've tasted. AMAZING and I'm not a biscuit eater. The rest of the dish, a skillet, was good. The sausage was different tasting. Not sure what the taste, maybe andouille?
College town style breakfast place. Friendly staff and tasty dishes. Comfortable if you?re young at heart (more mature patrons may find it noisy and the schoolhouse furniture uncomfortable). Fun and enjoyable. Avocado toast was excellent.
Aptly named this breakfast doesn’t disappoint if you’re hungry. Cajun omelette was recommended as a top item (chef is from Louisiana I was told). Omelette was 5 stars, salad and fries were an interesting twist. I’ll be Reserva una mesa ahora
One of if not the most packed breakfast joints in town but it'll be worth your wait. The food is great the option offer a variety to choose from and many options aren't offering anywhere else in town.
Jarod was fantastic. A true blend of enthusiasm and authenticity. The French toast was amazing!! Also recommend the grapefruit brulee, huevos rancheros and steak and eggs.
