I had a return visit to Big Ben West Side and this time it was to try the food as my last visit I only had a beverage.I was encouraged to give the place a try again as on Sunday as they are running a special were you can double the size of all food and beverages (excluding spirits) for the same price, which is what the flyer states. Not only are they fresh made to order, but the care that goes into each one is obvious.They feature a "burger of the week" which has NEVER been repeated. Even the chef says the hardest part is coming up with the new names... Well, the food was okay. Although the doneness of the meat wasn't right at all and the mixed salad was a joke. Service also left something to be desired, the amount of around 500 sFr was paid. Then even without a tip. There was vomit on the stairs to the toilet for a long time, even though we pointed it out to staff several times. Margarita was also a joke! Better go to Les Halle right next door.
Really great pub. Perfect for some afterwork beers with friends and colleagues. Different sports are shown on various TVs on a regular basis. A good range of different beers are offered from tab and bottle. Also the Burgers are pretty awesome...just one word: LUMBERJACK! ;)I can definitely recommend this pub!

We were here at the beginning of a Viking cruise. A Sunday and not many places open. Scouted out Big Ben and some others for dinner. Hamburgers and beer, a little wine. Good burger, great fries and prices that were great for Zurich. Kim was our server and he was wonderful. . An excellent experience.
Modern Irish pub with nice selection of local and international beers. Food is good and the pub has daily specials as a variation to the menu. Music is not too loud, but rock only. Friendly staff makes you feel welcome.
Went there with a bunch of friends. The burgers were really tasty. A bit pricy though but well.. go find a cheap place in zurich. They have some choice in beer but not the largest. Staff is friendly so thats good
Did not like it. Boring, greasy burger. You are asked how you want the meat and then you get it well done. Nachos are a small portion and soggy, guacamole doesn't seem homemade to me. Not again.

i'm truely a hamburger-aficinado and was looking forward to try this pub. unfortunately, the cheeseburger i ordered was awful. the bun was wet, the meat was dry and tge burger overall tasteless.
