Big Ben's Fish And Chips

We heard great things about this place so we decided to give it a try last night as we had a few other chores to do in Peterborough. Arrived at 5pm for what we thought was an early dinner but the place was packed as they have a Wednesday senior dinner which neither of us had because we prefer halibut to haddock. I loved the 1/2 fries and Cesear option. And we shared a slice of coconut cream pie, by share I mean I got a couple of delicious bites. Will definitely go again.

This used to be the best place to truly enjoy delicious fish and chips in Peterborough. The food was consistently excellent—fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. It was a regular spot for me. However, during my last couple of takeout orders, I noticed that the halibut was overcooked, with a tough crust on the sides and lacking flavor. The entire meal was definitely not up to their usual standard.

I ordered two takeout dinners, and I particularly enjoyed the combination with fries, while my brother loved the halibut. The food was all really good. I was also able to share my fries easily, so my friend only had a piece of fish and some of my fries. The service was excellent, and the packaging was very convenient. We'll definitely be back!

This was my first time trying fish and chips from Big Ben, and I wasn’t disappointed! The haddock was excellent, the batter was light, and the shrimp were delicious. It was just the right amount of food, all served fresh and hot.

Fresh food ! Amazing service they gave our kid some crayons and a colouring sketch while we waited. Definitely the best fish and chips we had. Will definitely come back ? oh and the rice pudding was to die for.

I visited for the first time and found the service to be quick and friendly. We ordered takeout, specifically Haddock, and the portion sizes were generous. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious.

After 7 years still the best. You guys have to eat here. The food was great. The fish wasn't oily. The batter was just right.
