If you’re ever in Churchill Square, stay far away from Big Bite Pita. After a miserable experience which entailed a chipped tooth and getting a chicken shawarma that had more bones than chicken(i’m talking SHARP, clusters of splintered and whole bones , the customer service I have experienced by the managers is not even worth talking about— like the worst I think i’ve ever received. About 10 minutes after I had ordered and left, I noticed the shocking amount of chicken bones (i was spitting them out, and i eventually counted 5 big bones! . I order online from the other location all the time. I'm a huge fan of the Keto salads. One of the few Keto friendly options out there.Ordered the Keto chicken shawarma with Caesar salad and half the salad was croutons... Very obviously not Keto. Was in a container half the size of the other location as well.Will make sure not to order from this one again. Lack of consistency between locations is not good, especially when the dish is made with complete disregard of the dietary requirement in the label of the dish.
Good Mediterranean food. The portions given are more than sufficient. It has tables for dine-in. They offer platers or pita options. Plates come with rice,meat and salad or fries. Variety of soft drinks options are available. They feed the homeless for free everyday from 3pm to 4pm which I felt is a very humane thing to do. They also accept donations to feed the homeless. It's a feel good restaurant.
A few weeks ago, we ordered shawarma platters with fries, and it was fantastic. However, today I ordered a dish with rice while my partner opted for fries. Unfortunately, they forgot to include the fries in our order, and the rice was barely edible—it had tough, hard clumps as if it were several days old. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I've ordered from here twice. The first time I tried the shawarma platter, which was decent and tasty. However, I was disappointed with the chicken shish tawook platter; it came with more rice but only eight pieces of chicken. If I'm spending over $20 for a plate, I expect a more generous portion of chicken as well.
Great options for those on a Keto diet! The Keto Donair Salad was fantastic. My family enjoyed their meals as well, which featured generous portions of fresh toppings without any keto elements. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Newfoundland!
Every visit is a treat, and the staff are wonderful! The ability to dip at your leisure is a nice touch, and there's a restroom available. I always have a great time here, although some menu items can be quite pricey. Excellent job!
The once-delicious pitas are no longer appealing, and the fajitas have lost their flavor. The beef shawarma, which used to be fantastic, is now served in large, unappetizing chunks and contains large pieces of fat.

We've been in St.John for 5 days and my husband's eating a keto diet. Big Pite Pita was suggested for us, and it was the best idea ever! The owner/manager was absolutely amazing, we went back twice.
