My son and I both have a high tolerance for spice, so I'm not sure how it would fare for someone who doesn’t. Nonetheless, I highly recommend it! We first discovered this restaurant through DoorDash takeout a year ago, and it left a lasting impression on us. The presentation of the food was impressive, and the taste was even better. Having tried sushi all over the world, we were excited to return. Tonight, we decided to dine in, and although it’s a small, unassuming place, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I really appreciate the friendly service, even for pickup, and the personalized notes always bring a smile to my face. The nigiri and sashimi are excellent and come highly recommended. However, the oshi rolls (the square ones) are beautiful but a bit off-balance due to the excess rice, which masks the delightful flavors of the toppings. We’ll definitely return to try their other round rolls and enjoy more of their incredible sushi and sashimi. I highly recommend this place!
What a great place for sushi! Limited seats so definitely recommend a reservation for dining in. I think the server said they only do dine in a few days a week and the rest is takeout. Very reasonable prices and I've honestly never seen such beautiful presentation in my life. Small menu but they do it right! The sushi quality is fantastic, the sashimi is very clearly fresh and great quality. Really, all the ingredients are, the rice, vegetables, are all super fresh. They have extreme attention to details, and the notes are adorable. The ordering system through their website is extremely easy and functional, it's super slick. And the service was also great as well. Will absolutely be coming back!
This sushi is delicious and meticulously crafted. The team at Big Catch apply the Aburi technique of searing the sushi, creating something new and exciting when it comes to traditional Japanese fair. The presentation, and the food was filling, and I enjoyed the shiro rice that uses a red vinegar in its composition. Looking forward to my next dish from here!
We ordered several sushi platters for takeout on fight night, and they were incredible! The flavor combinations, combined with the freshness of the sushi, made for a truly exceptional experience. I highly recommend trying Big Catch. A big shout-out to the chefs—I can't wait to dine in next time!
