I really wish this was a great review of a local place, where our family had a decent meal from a restaurant near where we live. However, this is exactly the opposite. Not because the food was bad, if only we had the opportunity to try all we wanted, but for the service. Our family of three entered, completed all the requirements to have a seat, and waited….and waited….and….waited. Yea, we eventually got up and left. We weren’t even greeted by a server, no water, no drinks. Just menus to see all the food available but not the opportunity to try the food, despite several servers passing us by, with what seemed not too much to occupy themselves. First, it took them forever to wait on us. Than the waitress who brought us our food had a bad attitude. She almost threw our plates in front of us. AND.... the French fries were smooth salty we had to shake it off because the waitress didn't check on us. My sister asked for a cup of ice when she did come back to check on us. But she never brought the cup of ice. We asked for the check and we got tired of waiting for it... so I went in to pay for it. I love their kimichi fried rice but unfortunately I'll never eat in again. Very disappointed in service. ???
One of the longest, best standing restaurants on island that have been around for YEARS! and every time still yet when we go, they never fail to deliver the best dishes and the best customer service that they can provide along with some of the oldest recipes that have been around for a long time that most locals enjoy to this day. If you're a tourist looking for one of the best local restaurants, this is one stop you don't wanna miss.
My girlfriend and I easily agreed to have an impromptu lunch at BCD since it's been awhile since we both ate there. We had the Teri burger with fried rice and the club sandwich with fries. We halved everything. We got to have the best of everything. After most of our meal was gone I remembered about taking a photo. Too late. that was really disappointed. the pupu sampler was just a chaos. the calamari was rubbery, the ribs were more fat than meat, the wings were so, and the garlic cheese brot is just garlic brot with slices of what looks like American fake cheese and to cover everything, have they forgotten my ice on the brownie ala mode? probably will only go back to breakfast
Big City Diner Thanksgiving to-go meal came in clutch for our family this year. Roast turkey was juicy, portuguese stuffing was phenomenal, as were the mashed potatoes, corn, gravy, and pineapple cranberry sauce! The pumpkin pie/crunch looks amazing, but we're all too full to eat it! Big Thank You to all the staff for an amazing meal!

We went there when it was almost closing and the service was still good and the food delicious especially the brownie dessert!. We had kids meals, paniolo burger, guava ribs and fried rice! on the 4th juli for lunch. I ordered the whole-terie hamburger steak meal with an egg above. it was so great and hit the place! we had also the chili cheese fries for an appetizer and that was also delicious. the part was very large and I have enough rest for another meal.
