Big Daddy's Kickin Chicken

Visiting LA area from Vancouver Canada, we were on the hunt for a BBQ place. Tried Woody's Inglewood which had great reviews but seems like it's perma-closed. Googled restaurants near me and Big Daddy's Kitchen popped up in the same area. We went to checkit out. It's your quintessential dive/hole in wall looking place. No eat in facilities, just take out. I'd rate the food 8/10.The mild-medium spiced charred tandoori style chicken was really nice; also loved the corn bread. Found the yams tasty andtender but they were too syrupy sweet for my tastes, and I found the Mac n Cheese too crunchy and too salty. The corn was tastyand well cooked. Beware the packaging: the liquid from the chicken leaks all over the inside of the bag, so keep it upright andwipe the bottom before trying to eat out of the container. I'd recommend getting a couple half chickens for dinner and makingyour own sides or going to a deli. You'd have a smash hit meal. Overall, go try it.

This is my first time trying Big Daddy?s kickin chicken OMG! The chicken taste ok the greens are extremely salty the Mac and cheese is dry and salty the yams are all mushy and nasty. Never again this food is horrible?.. yucky ????if you have high bloodpressure this is not the place when I say saaallllty mannn and if you don?t want high blood pressure then run as fast and don?tlook back.

SAAAAAAALTY. Oh baby, the chicken was salty, the juice for the chicken was salty. My mouth literally burning from the amount of salt. Y?all gotta chill, can?t salt up the community lol damn. The wait was also a lot considering we were told 15 min it endedup being 30.

I love Big Daddy! Yum! Would come here every day if I could fit in my Kia Soul easily. After eating so much I have a bit of a stomach girth problem. : I only eat it once a day now!

Some of the BEST GRILLED chicken in Southern California PERIOD. Sweet Potatoes n Collard Greens SLAP'N. Definitely recommend ???? Will be back soon.
