Big Daddy's Restaurant And Oyster Bar

This was our first time eating here. Our server, Jennifer, was quick to run through the menu to give us the “lay of the land” and answered every question we had. She was clearly busy, but took the time to make us not feel rushed at all. Her recommendation of the fried lobster tail appetizer was spot on! We will have them again! Loved the food and the service really capped of the 5 star review! Parking: Huge lot with plenty of parking.

Over priced and over rated. One of the worst pieces of fried flounder I’ve ever eaten-dry chewy, meatless, and tasted like it had been reheated. Salad bar was fresh, clean and well stocked. Crab legs were good but the steak served with it was poor quality and compared to a steak you’d get at apples bees. Overall not what I expected from a restaurant with a history of having good food.

The best thing was the salad bar. Our party got an assortment of items off the menu and most of them were bland and underwhelming. The steak was so thin. The fried shrimp had a weird taste. The broiled white fish had no flavor. The interior is dated which adds some old school charm. Overall this is a one and done.
