Anyone living in the area has likely been coming here for years, and for good reason. The sandwiches are outstanding, and the creativity that goes into the menu items is unparalleled. I can't do it justice by just describing it; you really have to check out the menu yourself. Without a doubt, these are the best subs in Central Jersey, and likely in the entire state. It was more nostalgic when they allowed indoor seating and displayed numerous plaques celebrating local high school sports teams—it's truly a shame that those days are gone. The subs at this restaurant are always delicious, regardless of which one you choose, and the service is excellent. Typically, the wait time is around 20-25 minutes, which can extend a bit longer if you're ordering three or more sandwiches. The food is neatly packaged. Although I don't usually carry much cash, this place is good enough that it's worth a quick trip to the bank. I recommend calling ahead, as that's what most people do. I only rated it a bit lower for atmosphere because there aren't really any options for dining in; the seating is very limited with just 3-4 seats in a small area. This is definitely more of a takeout spot.
This restaurant serves some of the best sub sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. I ordered both a cold and a hot sub and couldn't resist sampling them all. Honestly, if I weren't trying to watch my weight, I would have devoured them both! They excel in both quality and portion size with their sandwiches. The guys who made the subs were courteous and efficient, and Lucy, who was at the counter, was exceptionally friendly. To top it off, they had heavy metal music playing when I arrived, which was awesome as always. Jersey Mike's? Not even close! Big Wally's Subs deserves a solid 5 stars!

The subs here are simply unbeatable—they outshine all other sandwiches! The freshness of a Big Wally Subs is in a league of its own. The bread is always perfect, and the meat is consistently fresh. Plus, the prices are great!
Actually one of the best subs I've had and will be back many times to try the other options. Prices are totally reasonable, there was a bit of a wait just because they are so packed which is understandable.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for at least 10 years, and I’ve never had a single problem. The prices are fantastic, and the food is great. Just keep in mind that they only accept cash!
Ordered a custom sandwich. I get the same one every subshop I go. Only one other place has made it this good. Absolutely excellent sub. Thank you. I was not expecting to be blown away.
