Great burgers! I had been here before only once and hadn't been back. I remember it being good but was around the time when everyone was opening a just like your Mum makes' burger place, now American burgers are all the rage and Bilby's is a nice change from the new norm. I had a voucher so ordered the Aussie Battler add cheese (only 50c and chips. The burger was perfect, the relish wasn't too overpowering but enough to make an impact, the patty wasn't so thick you can't get your mouth, around it and the salad and bun were a great accompaniment. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I was appalled by Bilby's and sadly will not return I had eaten here once before and gotten it to go. The burgers were good, so when my husband and I had walked to Lake Claremont, we thought we'd head to Bilbys for burgers with our 8 month old in tow. We had milk for my son but no food. He loves tomatoes and eats bread so we thought, we'll just buy some for him The young man at the front was kind and helpful. I asked if we could just have some tomato slices for our baby. Horrible establishment that has seriously gone down hill. The GF burger bun was road kill, so thin it was like a biscuit and the continence was no better. Old lady insisted it was because they fry the buns so thats why it was no good.. hmm when you get 2 bottom ends of a rotten bun you complain it has nothing to do with the way it was cooked. Unfortunately when you take back the burger and complain you are faced with insults and abuse from the old lady and kid who is apparently cooking then food. Note to the apparent chef, your cooking is sloppy and disgusting.
We came here with a Scoopon and really enjoyed it. It’s a small shop, but with a big menu of burgers. The shop itself has a really cute outback look and feel. The burger patties were lean but tasty and not dry. The toppings were fresh and good quality. The buns were up to the task of holding in the burgers (no flimsy brioche here). The best part was the tasty home made sauces, I’m a sucker for a good dip for my chips! Chips were pretty standard but properly cooked and well salted. We are already planning which burger to try next time

Saw there was a really good groupon 15 for two burgers and two regular chips) for this place and had a high score on Zomato so gave it a try. Was a bit of a greasy take away looking place when I pulled up which I didn't really expect. Had the bonza brekki and was utterly disappointed to discover this did not have a beef patty which I accidentally assumed it would when making my choice. I felt pretty silly but in the end I really enjoyed my burger especially the sweet onion relish. Tasty, well seasoned chips but won't be rushing back.
I should have looked here before I took a trip out of the one that expected me to get a burger from bilby as I knew and loved! no longer hand-cut chips and homemade sauces. this is now a fish and chip shop with burgers on the side. They have the names of bilby and signage, but nothing else they did. fish and chips style chips, bottle sauce and moderate burger. be not stupid, bilby is no longer
I will go to bilbys now, since they have opened, they were the best in perth. Today I have found that they have new owners who were chips different than normal the Aoli\mayo was terrible I don't understand why they need to change the product they use for the cheap mist? very disappointed will not go back!
her menu is quite extensive, huh, bark, fish, kangarous and crocodile. they also have alcohol milkshake! we had out her battler and battlers frau burger with a side of chips. the food was prepared in time and tastes good.

Burgers were good. Fresh, tasty and done in a classic way. Chips were fresh. They should invest in an air conditioner for guests. Sweating while eating a burger is a bit uncomfortable
