one of the best brunettes I had one, bill was certainly not disappointed. eat and coffee amazing and top notch. I'm so glad we're here. with her jasmin tee smoked salmon, pink grapefruit, sumak yogurt, harissa and dill, sourded toast it was such an amazing taste and taste combination. the ricotta hotcakes came to high recommended by the check in kichere in our hotel and it was certainly not disappointed. simple and so a classic with perfectly cooked hot cake, banana and honeycomb butter. the hotcakes were fluffy and combination not too sweet and well balanced, it is one of the best hotcakes around. what a great representation of the great sydney brunch scene.
We very literally stumbled across this amazing institution walking from our Air bnb in Dalringhurst. As Melburnians we pride ourselves on our good coffee and brunch scene know-how and Bills met every requirement of a great brunch. We had the amazingly fluffy pancakes and the chili fried egg roll, both were delicious and my partner and I shared both. I would recommend sharing the pancakes as they are huge but delicious The ambience and setting are also amazing. The big centre table with amazing sweets and fresh flowers with other levels of seating areas and a central kitchen create a great vibe and lay out which sets it apart from the usual set up.
Service was terrible, waited 1 hour to get a table. We were patient for the entire wait and then was given attitude when asked for the 3rd time how much longer the wait would be. Didn't give us a proper waiting time as well, we were just told that we were "next". Food was overpriced and basic for what is. Taste wise it was fresh and decent but not worth the 1 hour wait, price and attitude given. The staff members were lovely except for the person that was in charge of placing customers to their tables. Disappointed.
P.s did not receive any apology for the wait. Would not come again.
no idea what the whole hype is about. long waiting for you at the weekend patiently wait to come in. a few tourists noticed there must be on the cache to do in sydney broochure. my cheese omelet was cooked to perfection, fluffy but overpriced. the clientele look like natives during the week with their laptops and books. I noticed that the kitchen staff occasionally threw pieces of food in the mouth while I was eating prefilled, very clean.

Went there for lunch - pretty great experience when you get past the wait (even after reservations, place is very packed). Had the classic ricotta hotcakes - pretty tasty but somewhat bland, so I jazzed it up with fried chicken and bacon in an effort to do the classic Yank chicken and waffles and it did not disappoint! Well thought out interior and great execution overall. Would visit again!!
Bills is packed every weekend and it's easy to see why. The restaurant has nice calm cosy decor and the staff are very friendly. The food here is a little overpriced for what it is, but it's decent. The scrambled eggs are quite good. Would avoid the sweet corn fritters.
Really great food either for a full meal or just a bite. The menu keeps changing so you wont get bored of this restaurant. Also drinks are great - had a fantastic **** Mary and Gin on Marmalade. The staff is quite friendly.
