Disappointing. We’ve been here a few times over the years but last night was well below the standard we’ve come to expect from a venerable institution. Pickled vegs were tough and huge, requiring a steak knife to cut. The tuna tartare was satisfactory but lacked flavour. The hamburger also lacked flavour and had some strange toppings. The wine we chose was excellent. Helm can sav.
Great food, everything we had was well cooked and tasty, the fish/prawn curry could have had a couple of more pieces of fish though (we counted 3 peices). The pavlova dessert was divine!
Lovely atmosphere warm and welcoming. Iconic Australian classics lots of flavour and freshness However the wine list does need improvement. Inadequate availability wine lovers.

Bills has nice ambience, tasty food and friendly service. Well worth a visit. Our waiter was very quirky, but funny and attentive. Menu is not huge, but adequate.
No soap in the bathroom ,rare steak came well done after 35 minutes ,the Bondi branch is not up to the standard of the other two.management please note.
The service was efficient, friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent with plenty of healthy choices. Prices are affordable and a good atmosphere.
