My second friend opted for the pulled chicken sandwich. While the sauce was tasty, the chicken didn’t resemble traditional pulled chicken; instead, it appeared to be cubed chicken breast sautéed in sauce. It was palatable but fell short of expectations. However, the mac 'n cheese side was the highlight—it was beautifully presented with a toasted crust and crunchy breadcrumbs served in a ramekin. I chose the brisket sandwich, which was almost inedible. The brisket was sliced and seemed to have been fried on a pan or griddle, resulting in greasy, browned edges. It was dry and tough. This place was absolutely fantastic. The server was on point with the customer service. The price per portion on everything was surprisingly cheap. The portions were huge. And everything my group tried was delicious. I had the piggy mac (mac and cheese over pulled pork) and I'm tempted to get it again the next time I go, even though I really want to try the brisket.I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you're in the area and want some kicking good BBQ, stop in! And definitely do the $6 round for the kitchen staff they've more than earned it!
The food here is consistently fantastic! I absolutely love the pulled pork, which I always pair with their homemade coleslaw and sweet potato fries. My husband enjoys the BBQ chicken quesadilla (he likes to keep it simple!). The service is always excellent and friendly. The dining room has a bright and comfortable atmosphere, making it perfect for a family meal or a casual date night. We’ve also ordered takeout several times, and they never skimp on the portions!
Got the 3 meat combo with double brisket, one pulled pork, double max and fries. This was easily enough food for 2-3 people.Pulled pork, mac and fries were good. Brisket was tasteless and had no seasoning. Moist but a third of every piece had a thick slab of hard fat. I had a fantastic experience with delicious food and excellent service. I’m not sure why the place was so empty this time; it was bustling during my last visit. They offered $2 pulled pork tacos, which were amazing! I also ordered a side of mac and cheese, and it was wonderful. Overall, I left feeling very satisfied!
