Finally we got to try this place! The small restaurant reminded me of the ones we went to in Osaka. Small, intimate, not pretentious, all about the food and great service. We came here for my birthday and I wanted to sit by the bar and watch the action in the kitchen. We both had sake and it was a good selection to compliment the small dishes that came out as and when ready. Aubergine miso just melted in your mouth chicken spring onion, chicken thigh, chicken skins, pork belly all were cooked to perfection and the crispy chicken skins were so moreish. specials were king prawns and they were big and tasty. cauliflower punchy and delicious tofu teriyaki crispy and chunky and great flavour kimc...
I had an amazing experience at this Japanese tapas restaurant! It's a small place, so making a reservation is a must. We went on a weekday and it was fully booked, with people being turned away. The staff was friendly, helpful, and polite, but the real highlight was the food. It was delicious, flavorful, and simply excellent! You can choose 2-3 dishes from the menu, but you can also ask for more if you have room. It was nice to be advised to take our time, relax, and just enjoy the meal. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious food.
The food here is unbelievable. Pork belly, Cauliflower, Chicken Kara age, Korean Chicken wings, Lamb chops, Aubergine and Miso everything tastes amazing, it's hard to pick a favourite dish. It is a small restaurant but has a nice atmosphere and the staff are always so friendly and explain the menu. The value for money is incredible, you can't believe the price when the bill comes for the quality and amount of food you get.
I made a reservation for my birthday and we were seated at the bar, which we thoroughly enjoyed! The food was amazing and the service was great. I highly recommend the pork belly and prawns, they were delicious! We were so impressed that we even booked another reservation for July before we left the restaurant. The prices were also very reasonable. I absolutely recommend this place.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant, where we ordered yakitori, potato salad, and karage. Unfortunately, the karage was a bit dry and lacking in juiciness, and the potato salad was overly salty and served ice cold. We were unsure if this was typical of Japanese potato salad. However, the yakitori was the standout dish, as it was delicious.
Amazing staff. So friendly! Food was delicious! Everything we ate made us speechless. We would have like the portions to be a little bigger as the asparagus and bacon was 2 pieces of asparagus on 2 skewers so volume wasn’t the best. But that wouldn’t stop me or my friends and family for coming again.
Magnifique. Super friendly staff !!! Food amazing. Nice surrounding. will def go again . The small plate tapas style were delicious, especially the pork belly and the cucumber salad. All around great experience and if you are in the area don't hesitate to go to indulge in a culinary journey.
Unbelievable dishes coming out of this restaurant. Barbecued plates of the highest order. Pork belly and sweetcorn are particular standouts. Other favs included the Lamb chops, aubergine in miso sauce and the cauliflower. No wonder you have to book months ahead! Go now!
