Binis am Viktualienmarkt

We recently visited Munich and tried a few ice-cream places around the city including Binis am Viktualienmarkt. Location of this ice-cream shop is central and very good. Their prices are reasonable and we found their gelato to be ok. During our visit we tried a cup with three scoops of hazelnut, pistachio and chocolate ice-cream. The texture was soft and fine, the flavours decent but not great. None were preferred to the same flavours taken at the two Ballabeni ice-cream shops in Munich during our trip. Those two had much nicer servings if I'm to be honest. In the end, we would probably take a pass on this place in the future and save our ice-cream stops for Ballabeni or continue to look for...

Ice cream, iced coffee (European style - iced with ice cream not ice), smoothies and cookies to boot! We customized our iced coffees by choosing which ice cream we wanted in them and also sampled a couple of their chocolate dipped cookies! Everything was amazing and staff was very pleasant! Go and enjoy!

I rented a cool orange bike from Binis and they were very helpful and relaxed. Handed over some ID and paid up front and it was mine for 3 days. No better way to see Munich then by bike. The price was reasonable at 16euros per day. Reserva una mesa ahora

Many different dishes of home made ice cream. Really nice worker. We took a special dish of several types of ice cream with cookies, cream and chocolate syrup on top. They also serve coffee, soft drinks and smoothies

We rented bikes from Lenny's Bike Tours to ride around the English Garden & then were given a free ice cream cone when we returned. It was very tasty & we will definitely be going back. Super friendly staff, too!

We only stopped here by chance after lunch when we saw a queue. I got a cone with two scoops for €2.50 - great value! Pros: Really fresh, creamy flavours - I chose pistazie and haselnuss. Cons: nothing!
