Bio Beach Club Torrox Costa Simply one of our favourite venues! Comida, Saludable y Arte Highly Recommended! Where do we start? We start by saying that the Bio Beach Club is our No.1 venue—whether for breakfast, team or business meeting or relaxing on a Sunday afternoon listening to superb live music with a few cerveca´s the BIO Beach Club is our favourite which we recommend thoroughly to friends and colleagues and now to you the reader. We first went to the Bio Beach Club after being told good things by friends and our first time experience quickly made it our favourite place to go in Torrox Costa end! We literally all went in for a beer on a lovely Sunday afternoon just after it had opened its doors and the friendly and efficient staff made us feel like we were the only customers there and on a busy day! Over the time we have sampled many dishes and every time a new twist and every meal that comes out of the kitchen both looks and smells fabulous. Hand on heart we can genuinely say that every dish at The BIO Beach Club is a revelation—a treat! You must try Breakfast at The BIO Beach Club—What could be a better start to any day than enjoy a superb breakfast beside the Mediterranean. Other favourites include the Baked Lamb—simply sublime! The Carpaccio and the BIO Organic Burgers complemented by Cheese, Caramelized Onion, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato Egg are a thing of beauty in looks and taste. Comida’ We have covered food and art but the Bio Beach Club bolsters its incredible ambiance with regular live music. Virtually every weekend there is live music from a variety of talented musicians. I had a meal at this restaurant on 19th December 2021 as part of a group. It was a set menu with a choice of main meal. I picked pollo al curry so wasn't expecting it to come with couscous. I have a gluten intolerance so cannot eat couscous as it is pure wheat. I raised this with the waiter, to which he replied that nobody had complained before and that in any case the couscous on the plate was a gluten free variety. I was dubious so only ate a very small amount of it. Later that day I began to feel very ill and immediately recognised it it as a reaction to gluten. For the rest of the day and the next day I felt very ill. I checked on the internet if there was such a thing as gluten free couscous and discovered it wasn't possible it is pure durum wheat hence the bad reaction I had to it. . What this waiter did was very serious If instead of being just intolerant to wheat I had full blown Coeliac disease it could have been life threatening. This restaurant brands itself and its menu as being able to provide vegetarian and gluten free food. I no longer trust this restaurant to be truthful about the content of dishes and I shan't eat there again.
