If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. My partner and I were excited to try this place but left extremely disappointed and upset. When we asked questions about their seasonal menu we were answered in a extremely condescending way from our server. After putting in our order our server did not acknowledge us again and a table that ordered the same exact menu items about 10 minutes after us got their food first. The food was decent but extremely small portions for the price. After eating we sat for 10 minutes with dirty plates in front of us while the table behind us got their plates cleared by our server and even got asked if they wanted dessert. Birch and Maple is a hidden gem of a restaurant with a beautiful view of Betsie Bay! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by a cozy atmosphere. The view alone is worth the trip, providing a peaceful backdrop for a delicious meal. We tried the chicken and waffles, which were a perfect combination of flavors and textures. The meat lovers omelet was also excellent, packed with savory goodness. Each dish showcased the chef's skill and commitment to quality. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our experience was top-notch. If you're in the area, Birch and Maple is a must-visit. I'm looking forward to coming back for another culinary journey!

Went here during Ironman weekend so it was quickly filling up. Service was prompt and responsive. Coffee selection did not seem quite as good as Perk's down the street so we waited to have our morning coffee. Burrito was good but beware it is drenched in sauce. May have asked for that on the side next time! Basic breakfast was great, highly recommend the sourdough and their in-house peach jam. Bar was active already and seemed well-equipped. Ambiance was great.

The food was delicious and well-prepared, we ordered the specials. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed, which we enjoyed, but there were a lot of flies and our bill came to $200. We ordered 2 specials, no alcohol, and our children had mini sliders. We ordered takeout. We had the hatch chili sliders, smoked kielbasa and the cherry kale salad. The food was all delicious and unique. And as for service, when she handed me our food they gave me the salad separately so it wouldn’t get warm. So thoughtful. First time visitors and we were not disappointed! The staff was lovely and the food was delicious! We tried the monte cristo and chicken and waffles for brunch. Overall, we would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
