Wow what can I say went for Xmas dinner today and never had a meal when every dish was just horrible we had a table of 8 and none of us enjoyed any of the dishes at all . The turkey dinner was dry and the ones that had this didn't eat it all .. the steak was the worst we have ever had it was the worst cuts 4 of us had steak and we all found it awful and extremely fatty , then waited over 45 mins for deserts to the point we throught they had forgotten us . The dishes was that bad we didn't brother staying for the final dish was pointless . To say how much this cost I would never go out for Christmas Dinner again . I can't even find the right words to say how much not one of us on our table en...
We had an amazing Christmas dinner and have enjoyed several Sunday meals here before. The food was delicious and we want to give a big shout out to Maxine and Wendy who provided excellent service. Despite the restaurant being very busy, they still took the time to take care of each customer and make conversation, ensuring everyone was happy and had everything they needed. They were incredibly attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. We want to thank all the staff for working on Christmas day to make our experience so special.
My wife and I had a great 3 course lunch from the senior's menu. We didn't have to wait very long between courses and the service was excellent. the real ale was spot on and the staff were amazing and very friendly. This pub is situated right next door to an American air base so it's nice to have a chat with our American friends. We will definitely be returning.
We frequently visit the Bird in Hand in Beck Row with various groups of friends. We all enjoy it immensely. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the food consistently delicious. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance and ample parking. The atmosphere is lovely, with plenty of clean seating. It is a favorite among all of us.
