Came on a weekday evening. The place was slow and quiet, which is not a big deal, but the staff look not too happy to be there and it seemed to spoil the mood of each table that sat around us 1 by 1. The tastes were ok at best if I'm being honest. We got Curds that we paid 3.50 for a sauce to dip in. Ch skins, which were not like the menu, had described but did end up being the tasting dish. Then, Octopus and sliders, both supposedly sharable dishes that wouldn't even be big enough to be an appetizer at most restaurants, and both were just mediocre in flavor to put it lightly. Came here while driving back to the bay after a wonderful trip to Mendocino. I saw all the going reviews and was really excited to try something new in the area as it sounds like this is one of the finest establishments here in Santa Rosa. Unfortunately, I was super disappointed, almost every single menu item is battered and fried. We ordered three dishes. They all tasted the exact same for some reason. The only condiment they seem to use here is either butter or mustard. On top of that the prices are outrageous. I cannot say enough about the food, service, and especially the staff at this establishment. I got up at 3am to fly to CA for all day, back to back meetings, the last two being at The Bird Bottle. After wonderful food, amazing service, and a successful business meeting, my tired self forgot my credit card on the table. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I got my card back before my flight the next morning. Special thanks to Assistant Manager Keisha.

They attempted to seat another party under my reservation, which I had to intervene to prevent. Generous bone marrow serving size, but covered in a sweet sauce I didn't like much. Tacos were excellent, except one of my wife's had a huge bone in it. Table service just ok; sat with an empty wine glass and water jug for over half the meal, but the food came pretty quickly. Vinegar vibes on several of the dishes which may or may not be your thing.

We found this place as a quick, “grab dinner enroute home”, and it over delivered a couple of times over. Great kids menu, great share place, great cocktails… and desserts that lean away from sweetness. A great place that we will make sure to revisit next time we’re anywhere near. Amazing spot! Great food. It is really nice quality. Highly recommend the flank steak, and the zucchini/roasted veggies are all really good. We also had the crab sliders as a special and that was very good, and the bbq chicken. For two it was more than enough food. Lastly, had the Zin and it was a really nice tasting wine. Overall highly recommend.

The shared plate family style experience was perfect for our party of 7. Everyone loved the food. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The amount per person included drinks and tip. Quite reasonable, especially for the area and the quality. Ihave included photos of only two of our items, the rib special and the Whiskey Ball dessert.

So this was spur of the moment stop on the way back from wine country. We were pleasantly surprised! The food is delicious! I highly recommend the warm spinach salad and the soft shell crab sliders. The everything fries are a must!!! They are perfection!! Cocktails were good and the atmosphere is quaint. We will definitely be back!!!

Great food and service! The brussel sprouts and smoked beets were my personal favorite. I tried the fried fish to do something different and didn't love it, but it was prepared extremely well and that really just comes down to my personal taste. Fantasticservice in the bar area and great drinks as well.
