Biriyani House Restaurant

Went here because we had a Groupon that was soon to expire. Unfortunately it was for the previous incarnation- this is now the NEW Biriyani House Restaurant- new owners in Feb. 2017 apparently. No matter, the waiter (manager? took our number and assured us that...he would call us when he got his refund and it would still be honoured later. We decided to stay and eat anyway and were glad we did. Wonderful, flavourful and fresh Indian dishes. Had the chicken samosas, saffron rice, garlic butter naan, chicken biriyani, chana masala, butter chicken- all were wonderful. It was empty and stayed empty the whole visit- don't let that deter you!

This place was horrible. Refused to honour the Groupon and then we decided to stay anyway despite the terrible decor only to find the food even worse. The Naan was not Naan. It was pizza dough with chunks of garlic on it. The rice was prepackaged and the meals themselves were disgusting. We went to McDonald's after.

Refused to honor their groupon. Claimed that it is because of new ownership. Even if this were true (and I'm not convinced that it is), when you guy a business, you buy everything including their liabilities.This caused me a huge waste of time... will never step foot in there again.

Undoubtedly the best biriyani in town. The owner is changed now and so has the chef. But biriyani is still great. Their non veg items R awesome. Need some work on veg items though!

The food here was really goodWe had the matar paneer and chana masala (quite spicy) to share with some garlic naan and the biryani.
