Found this hole in a wall about 2 years ago, and initially they were fantastic! Small menu, with a few well cooked items for take out, and very good price for South Indian food. Then I dunno if the ownership changed or someone had a bright idea to make money. But they increased prices, reduced quantities and dropped the quality. Added a whole bunch items to the menu. Added some over priced cakes at the counter that they try to up sell every time you go. Don’t have any good and affordable Indian take out places any more around here. Sad.
This used to be my favorite restaurant. It was so disappointing that their standards have gone down. I ordered masala morchi bajji,fish fry, chicken biryani, and white forest pastry. The mirchi bajji were raw as the batter was completely uncooked. The fish fry was good but did not have salt. Biryani was so bad,it did not have any flavor it felt like i was eating boiled chicken with very mildly flavored rice. The pastry was dry.I never thought I would rate this restaurant so low.
I ordered a family pack of biryani but only received a single biryani instead, which was quite disappointing after waiting almost two hours. Unfortunately, this has happened to me twice now. It’s really frustrating to not have food when you’re hosting friends. However, this is still my favorite biryani spot in Columbus. They perfectly capture the Indian spice level in their biryani, and until now, I’ve never been let down by this place.
If you are looking for cake corner, it is the same as biryani corner. As soon as you walk in, you will see the cakes. They have readymade cakes and puff pastry available. We took the gulab jamun cake. It was delicious. They make cakes by order, too. They also have a ras malai flavored, pista flavored cake, too. It's a must try for cakes and pastries!

The customer service was slow and unsatisfactory. There are many better alternatives within a two-mile radius, with Awadh being one that stands out. The food was below expectations, especially considering the long wait time compared to the promise of quality.
This is the best Indian food I've had since moving here, and I've sampled many local restaurants. I have never been disappointed by any of the dishes I've tried. I highly recommend it!
We ordered a birthday cake for the first time here, and it was delicious! A big round of applause to the chef; the cake was truly perfect. All of our guests loved it. Food: 5/5.

Everything was delicious and hygienic. The butter chicken masala could have been served in a slightly larger portion.
The Paneer Biryani was quite tasty, and the paneer was excellent.
