On May 26th of this year I met two of my friends at the Happy Valley Biscuits for brunch. We ate outside on the patio, and it was wonderful. The food was all delicious (I had the lemon-blueberry French toast) and we had a pleasant time together. I wantto give special shout-outs to the following staff: 1: Whitney, our server, who despite being badly mistreated by an obnoxiouscustomer, kept her cool with us, and did an excellent job of taking care of us. 1. Whitney, our server, handled a difficult customer with grace and professionalism. Despite the customer's rude behavior, Whitney remained cool and provided excellent service to us. My partner and I often dine at this restaurant because it's conveniently located near our workplace. Typically, the food is good and the service is fair. However, our latest visit was disappointing. Even though there were plenty of available tables, we had to wait to be seated. Once we were finally seated by the host, Dalton, we waited 20 minutes just for two coffees and waters, which we ended up having to get ourselves. This restaurant has a classic diner vibe, focusing primarily on breakfast and lunch, with an emphasis on breakfast. The staff are friendly and efficient. It appears they have one or two cooks in the kitchen, but the food is served promptly. The open layout can create a bit of noise, especially since the booths are shoulder-height, but that’s just a matter of personal preference. Poor service, waited too long for food, had to ask for second cup of coffee, others came after us and were served before us. THE FOOD WAS BARELY WARM. Cook did not know how to serve corned beef hash, had to use a steak knife to cut. You'd think after we asked if the manager was in, they would want to know why, or at least told us they were busy and would be right over, but still had to wait. Finally ended up leaving. The waitress was pleasant enough, but not very attentive. Plenty of other places, no reason to go back.

I have been to this restaurant with friends on several occasions, and even though it tends to get quite crowded, our meals always arrive promptly! I really appreciate the generous portion sizes for the price and how satisfying the food is. The staff is consistently friendly and engaging, often taking the time to chat with us about our day and other little things. It's a fantastic place for a quick brunch, and the new manager is wonderfully friendly and a pleasure to interact with.

Our server, Rhea, was one of the most delightful and attentive servers I've ever encountered. She brought a wonderful warmth and joy to the restaurant. Rhea is definitely someone worth keeping on the team and promoting. I plan to request her every time I visit. The chicken fried steak was crisp and delicious, just like always. I really appreciate it when it takes two creamers to get my coffee just right—nice and strong!

Have been coming here with friends for a while now, they can get pretty busy, but despite that, you get your food in a timely manner! I always love the portions for the price and how filling it is. I had a diner-style breakfast, and the portions were quite generous! We waited about 25 minutes for someone to take our order while we sat outside. However, the server was very polite and even offered us complimentary coffee for the wait. The food was delicious. I recommend trying the "Keep it Simple" option, where you can choose three items from a long list of breakfast selections.

I visited Oregon to reconnect with a long-lost high school friend, and while I was there, I stopped in for breakfast. My waitress, Laralee, was incredibly cheerful and full of energy! She not only served me but also kept a smile on my face and made me laugh. The atmosphere was lovely, and the people were wonderful! I will definitely return on my next trip to Oregon!
