Excellent Southern Comfort Fare, with lots of choices and reasonably priced.The portions were adequate; the chopped steak was twice the size of most places. Eating just a meat with two sides to save room for a piece of chocolate pie, I was completely stuffed.The food was adequately cooked; not under or over cooked and not greasy. It was appropriately seasoned.My chocolate pie made my tongue want to beat my brains out for more, it was sooo good! Ordered the fried chicken, dark meat, way too salty for me, but the macaroni and cheese was good, and the mashed potatoes were good too. I don't know if it was me, BUT, there was a lady in front of me, and the man came over asked her if she has been helped, she said yes, she was waiting on the other lady. He then looked at me, and walked away without asking if I needed helped. Maybe it was me, maybe he didn't think I needed help, but just to say, he might have walked away because I was Asian, who knows. I didn't make a big deal of it, I just let it go. I apologize for not taking any photos of our meal, but it was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the chicken wings while my partner had the tenders. We also sampled nearly all the sides, and each one was delightful. The sweet potato casserole was among the best I've ever had—if not the best—and that's a high compliment! The chocolate pie was also amazing. However, I did experience an issue with being double charged, and I’ve had trouble reaching someone by phone to resolve it. While the staff was friendly, the service fell a bit short in this regard. It was quite busy, which is understandable after church on a Sunday.

Fabulous home cooked food, like mom or grandma makes. If you're hungry and want some southern cuisine, or if you can't decide what type of food you want, give them a try. You will not be disappointed! Amazing, friendly staff and the line inside, is definitely worth the wait! Ate there twice while in Nashville and was not disappointed. My experience here was great! I got 3 medium chicken tenders, which were just the right amount of spice for me. Green beans didn't look great but tasted amazing! The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Every staff member was incredibly nice and cordial. If you're looking for some great hot chicken, this is for sure the place to go.

The service was incredibly friendly and quick. The food was delicious, especially the hot chicken tenders. There was a squash dish that I had never tasted before, and it was fantastic. You should definitely give it a try!

I've been dining here for quite some time. Although I haven't returned since changing jobs a few years ago, I recently visited and found that the food and staff are still exceptional. Don't miss out on the carrot soufflé!

First time here today and the food was amazing. Will definitely come back. It was super crowded in there after church and the eating space is not huge but we found a seat by the time we got our food. Delicious!!

Hot chicken was moist, full of flavor and worth the short wait. Deliciously the bear fried chicken I've had in years. I highly recommend.
