1st time here and very impressed. I love crab cakes, and their small plate one was exceptional. Loved the inclusion of the sweet corn and the pickled onions on top. The French onion soup was superb. Great portion size, complex depth of flavor, and kept hot in the amazing metal bowl. My friend shared an onion ring. Oh my. Tasty. The carmelized sugar on the creme brule (sp? was sadly blackened, but we scraped it off and enjoyed what was beneath. Amber was our server. She was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and took very good care of us. We needed that after a very long drive. I was impressed. Forgot to mention their OMG onion rings. They might be the best I have ever had.
my boyfriend and i tried this place on a whim last minute and i have to say by far this was the best experience i’ve ever had! we had Jessica as our server and she was so helpful on what we should order! she gave us loads of recommended dishes and every single dish we ordered from appetizer to dessert was delicious!! i forgot to take pics of all the dishes we ordered but i did manage to get one, the crab cake… shortly after that we devoured every dish the second they got to the table!
Delicious food, excellent service, all in an exquisite atmosphere. My mother and I have been dining at Bistro 1907 since it opened in 2018. It has become our favorite dining location in the area! We were recently at the restaurant on Dec 22 and had Nancy as our server. She took great care of us! Please pass this praise along to her. Thank you, Bistro 1907!
My son and I are driving cross country and our first stop was Youngstown, OH. How lucky for us to have found this gem. From the apps of wings and Arancini balls to the burger, and Buckey Cheesecake. Food wasn't horrible but it wasn't memorable either. Our server forgot the lobster bisque and the service was a bit slow. It was New Years eve so that could be the reason. But I truly expected more for the price they charge. Downtown Youngstown is changing for the better and will need a quality, high end restaurant, because this place isn't it.
It was our Anniversary and we had an amazing dinner including lemoncello and orangecello spritzers, lobster bisque, Arancini appetizer, lamb chops and filet au poivre. Our server Jessica was outstanding and very attentive. Her recommendations were on point!! We highly recommend Bistro 1906 and Jessica. We will be back soon!!
