The Bistro is a nice place to dine. The ambiance is wonderful; very intimate and unhurried feeling. Not at all like a restaurant in a busy casino. The food is good (not OMG! , the prices are okay (not low, but not as high as some places , the waitstaff is ok (why did Hanna put my napkin in my lap but not in my mother's or daughter's? . We got a sushi sampler to nosh on before ordering dinner. It was all ok. Definitely not Nobu, but ok. I think Okura is better. I think it was $20 for the sampler: 6 pieces of California roll and 6 pieces of sushi. For dinner, I had the lobster tail w Angel hair pasta. The lobster tail was cut in half and lightly breaded. I got a really big piece of lobster for $58, which made me happy but it was served without drawn butter. I think I was supposed to cut it up and mix it with the pasta. The pasta sauce was light, olive oil and tomatoes. Not much to it. It was ok, but not fabulous. My daughter ordered the wagu Parmesan stuffed meatloaf. She liked it, particularly the gravy, but the mashed potatoes were grainy. Husband had the salmon and risotto. Again, he said it was ok, no complaints, but not wowed. Mom had the highly recommended lobster bisque soup which she said was good but very light on lobster chunks. Overall, ok place but not my new favorite. I'd go again if I were at Fantasy Springs and hungry.
