Absolutely fantastic! As a big fan of authentic Italian cuisine and having traveled to Italy several times, this spot truly delivers. The atmosphere is cozy, and keep in mind they don’t take reservations, so plan accordingly. The food is delicious, and the service is unpretentious yet warm, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend the pappardelle with veal ragu—it was outstanding. We’re definitely coming back to explore more of the menu. Bistro Amerigo offers a charming dinner atmosphere. I tried the special of the day, torched tuna with salad, which was rather average. The calamari was tasty and definitely a highlight. While the pasta was good, it felt like something I could easily make at home. Although we sat at the bar, the staff often walked by without acknowledging us when we had questions. Bistro Amerigo is a tiny, charming Italian bistro with an authentic vibe and no reservation policy. The service was pleasant and unobtrusive, though as a large group of seven—taking up about a third of the seating—we did feel a bit rushed to finish. The highlight, however, was the food, which was absolutely outstanding and truly deserving of five stars. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
