My husband and I found this gem while on a food tour of Old Montreal, it was one of the stops. After our tour was over we went back for more! The beer is excellent, we didn't get any food but what others had looked good. Our server was very knowledgeable and passionate about the beer so much so that I asked if he was the owner! He wasn't, but I really enjoy going to restaurants and breweries were the employees take ownership in the company and beer! My favorite beer was the Carmelia-brewed with green tea which is unique and made for a very smooth drink. My husband enjoyed the stout. If you're in Old Montreal try it out!

Where: Bistro-Brasserie Les Soeurs GrisesWhat: A bistro pub that serves their own beer. We shared a dinner place. How was it: Great. We shared this platter with a bunch of amazing food. We've been inside once and on their patio 2 times. We prefer the patio, but the downside is the neighbours complain after 9pm, so if you're still on the patio - you're forced to move inside. It's ok, not the restaurant's fault, just the picky building in front.Anyway, great place for a pint or even the fish burger.Grade: Eli = 5, Serge = 5Recommend: Yes, give it a try.
Swung by here for an end of the night pint the other day; the place has a really nice vibe/atmosphere.Unfortunately, the service was lacklustre - my friend and I stood around the entrance for 3-4 minutes before the bartender just waived us to sit wherever, which ran contrary to the server stand at the door. It then took a while to get a server at our table, but at least when we ordered, the beer came back quickly. The beer was good, but not great. The flavours were pretty middle of the road, making me think of 3 Brasseurs vs. a stand-out brew pub.
Appearing in the Montreal guide as a cheap restaurant, and the first time we visited this city, we were a little surprised at the prices (which in the end are very correct for the quality of the dishes), but the menu and the atmosphere upon entering the restaurant urged us to stay. The different flavors of the dishes, the beers are very appreciable and the result is a pleasant experience for a successful meal! The employees are very friendly and accommodating, with tips for getting around the city in a matter of hours. Thank you ! Reserva una mesa ahora
We went to their restaurant based on a recommendation from the concierge of our hotel. We were a bit skeptical when we arrived based on how busy it was and how slow the service initially was. However, when the food arrived there were no complaints. Absolutely delicious!!! I had the half chicken and we all split the brownies and tiramisu for dessert. I would go back for sure. Bathrooms are unisex...took me a minute to work that out :) - don't worry they are closed off stalls with shared sinks.
Cannot believe, living in Montreal, I did not know about this restaurant. Went last week, and we were so impressed with the food and the ambiance. Had special gourmet macaroni and cheese, wild boar burger on pretzel bun, and confit de canard on a sweet waffle, so sweet and salty, my first experience, and so good. Everything was served in the right order, so we could share each dish, with enough time in between to really enjoy it
We were here in probably a quieter time. Late afternoon before dinner rush. We had a couple of beers and some appies to share. The service was fanatic. Fast, courteous, and with a smile. The food was good and the beers we chose were spot on. Very well done. We will definitely try to return before our trip ends.
Very cool and pretty place well located in the old port! There is also a terrace! Prices are great, and the menu selection is awesome for both food or drinks! Staff were very nice too! A must try place, I will be back for sure! Reserva una mesa ahora
The service was excellent, the waitress very nice, but the food very disappointing! The prices seemed good to me but you have to pay for the side dish, regular chickpea salad for $ 5!
Drinks cold. Not alot of helpful information from servers. Very busy and too loud. Wait staff very pushy. Not very private bathroom facilities. Very squished seating
