After having lived in France for several years, I learned that they can find nowhere in the middle of the great restaurants. chavenay is a small but beautiful old village on the landside, only 20 minutes away from paris. this restaurant in the middle of the village is one of them. the owner is very friendly. the food boiled at home, apart from the strange makkaron. the menu varies from the coquille jean jacques in three variations to home made burger with matchstickries. all the people I take there are surprised each time about the restaurant. good value for money.
