The food at this restaurant is exceptional. We started with the gnocchi sampler as an appetizer and it was delicious. I highly recommend trying it. I particularly enjoyed the pesto sauce. The bread and dipping oil were also very tasty. For my main course, I had the Chicken Piccata, which was not on the menu but a special of the day. It was one of the best piccata sauces I have ever had. The dish came with a side of spinach, roasted potatoes, and three shrimp on top, all seasoned well and paired nicely. The waiter, a polite young man, recommended the gnocci, but my husband's Short Rib Gnocci dish was lacking in meat and flavor. My Chicken Marsala had two small, bland pieces of chicken swimming in a pool of brown sauce with mushrooms. When I inquired about the side options, I was initially told I could only choose one, despite the menu stating otherwise. The dish was served quickly, but we noticed ants inside the restaurant as well, adding to our discomfort. When asked about our meal by the manager, I mentioned the issue with ants, but received only a brief apology. Meh. Service was nice. But it was completely empty on a Sunday night which had us asking if they were still open. The waitress ran to the back and had to ask lol. It was 8pm. Your hours say closing at 10.Arancini said it was stuffed with short ribs. All 3 barely had a shred of meat in them. $17 for rice, let's be real. Flavor was fine. Portion sizes for entrees were okay but again, meat portion was so small for the price.To top it off there were flies and gnats everywhere. It made eating so annoying.Our server was friendly and the food atleast came out quickly. But we were the only ones there so idk how best it is to judge by that. Won't be returning.
