"Really good restaurant in Napa. Spaghetti and mussels dish was full of taste. My wife got the pesto court and she loved it too. The Cabernet Chocolate Dessert was great, not heavy and very fluffy/airy taste. Service was also very friendly!"

This is my third visit here and the first two times were excellent. Historically, they have an incredible variety on the menu and unique dishes. It didn't seem like that this time. The place was busy. Our server was funny and animated, but had a hard time to keep on his tables. We asked about water, heat level and cocktail several times. The heating element never came, although it asked twice and was not far. The food was generous portions, but this visit was not so great. The Pesto Pasta dish had too much pesto and not much pasta. The roasted appetizer was average. The location is really nice next to vineyards in the garden. The interior is also well done. The tables are not clamped so that...
Wow. We stopped here after we tried a few other places that were too busy to sit our party of four including a young tired boy at 5:00 on a Thursday. the staff was super friendly. there was a lot of parking. Drinks came. fresh bread with olive oil has been provided. the food came fast and it was so good. we had the steak a pork chop pizza the fish speciality and a few salads. we will be safe again. no wonder this place is a favorite for locals.
Don Giovanni?s was terrific! Great drinks at a cool bar! Dinner was outstanding. The octopus salad was the best ever. The lamb gnochetti was amazing. The scallop dish taste was great, but the plating looked a little like a plate of vomit. (Not trying to be harsh, but dress that up somehow! Great, great place to have a relaxing dinner.
Beautiful terrace and restaurant, but unfortunately the restaurant has lost our ticket and not got our admirers up to an hour after sitting. Our waiter did what he could do to make things right, but it was difficult to save our experience as it was my birthday dinner in Napa at the last night of our trip.
