Bistro Juquehy - Reserva de mesa

I've been frequenting this restaurant for several years. It is a kind of multi-space with restaurant, handicrafts shop, jewelry, ice cream and candy shop, etc.This time we were to dinner and as always we asked seafood. it was a little disappointing because the fish - sea bass - contained many thorns and hurt dinner. breaded shrimp as starters were ridiculously small, pure mass. The suggested wine, Chilean (although expensive) was good, served correctly however the waiter did not know how to open the Screwcap wine seals (???).I would say that is missing training of hand labor, as all of them were standing talking with each other rather than meet the diners. A group of us arrived around 8 pm. There were few others in the restaurant so there were no problems with prompt service. I ordered prawns with a crusty spicy sauce and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Others in our group seemed satisfied as well. We had appetizers and drinks - all good. I split a dessert - a lemon tart something or other yet was so full from dinner that its richness was almost too much. Still, a very good meal. Tip.....allow time to shop!! There is a small area where one can purchase rugs, table clothes, place mats, etc. All very pretty and well priced.

I ate here last weekend on a Saturday night. I arrived at 8pm and ordered about 10 minutes later. The food finally arrived at 2130, despite a few reminders along the way. No apology was offered, they didn't really seem to care. After all that time it was very average, over cooked steak, gluggy cheese pasta....I wouldn't eat there again and wouldn't recommend it unless you have hours to sepnd aiting.

It is probably one of the best place in the area if you want to have dinner. The choice is big, but I was disappointed because you expect fresh sea food, because you are next to the sea and you just experience frozen shrimps. Moreover the sauce with the shrimps were full of cream.. Of course the taste is good.. But not healthy at all.. Reserva una mesa ahora

Its a nice restaurante. Its right in the heart of things. The food, is a little interesting, however, its not really inspiring. Good enough, but after eating there and having 8 prawns each with risotto and being charged an arm and a leg - we'll give it a miss in the future. Lovely ambiance, maybe just drinks is a better idea.

One of the best places in Juquehy and has been around for quite awhile. Prices are at the high end but for example 3 of us ate the Muqueca and still took some home. the other two in our party shared a couple of apps and were likewise satisfied. Service was attentive but not intrusive.

Prices correspond to restaurant's decoration and fancy location but not necessarily to the food. You can have equally good food for lower prices in Juquehy (at Paschoal restaurant for instance). But it is a nice place to sit and have a pleasant meal if you have money to spare.

Go. Have the macqueca it's really great. A bit pricey but worth it. The caipirinhas are lovely and very very strong. Two and I was off with the fairies. Excellent and attentive service. Great atmosphere. We really enjoyed this restaurant. Would visit again. Reserva una mesa ahora

We enjoyed our visit to the Bistro and found the food excellent, although the atmosphere was not exceptional, nor was the service, and the price was pretty high for Brazil. We all had fish or seafood and so we cannot comment on the meat options.

Went for lunch and was really a good experience, good service, great food quality and ambient! Had risotto, meat and salads all were just great! Really recommend this place to grab something to eat while in juquehy!
