Bistro Kapzak - Reservar una mesa

During our journey back to the United States, we made a stop in Granby and wanted to enjoy a memorable meal on our final night in Québec. We decided on Bistro Kapzak because it was one of the few local restaurants open on a Sunday night, and we were very pleased with our choice! The restaurant offers a deliciously creative take on Central European cuisine using Canadian ingredients. The chef's skillful use of mushrooms stood out in particular, making every bite exciting. We highly recommend the table d'hote tapas for $45 CAD, which includes a great selection of appetizers and dessert. My companion enjoyed an Old Fashioned cocktail, while I savored the Mlle Violette beer from La Confrérie Art...

This was a delightful place to dine. The decor is interesting . Our waitress Laura was excellent. The menu was unusual and the food was delicious. I had a salade tiede of pintades wings on a bed of morels, asparagus and arugula which was fabulous. Another friend had a salad crowned with a burrata which she declared to be wonderful. Another friend had a cod dish. The dessert was also good. If you are in or near Granby this restaurant is a find. The Thursday evening we were there it was full so I recommend calling for reservations.
