Bistro La Traite - Reservar una mesa

I can’t rate it honestly because after driving 7 hrs , checking in at the Hotel Manoir and than walking to the restaurant they wouldn’t seat us reason given they where not taking any more customers because they where closing in an hour and five min. I said we would just like something light like a salads and was told sorry it’s to late. Never have I been turned away from a restaurant because it’s closing at 8 and it was 6:55. So disappointed as we really wanted to eat there.

The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. We had a group of 11 people and made a last-minute reservation, but the process was very easy and everything went smoothly. They even brought out our cake and cut it for us. The outdoor terrace was a great addition. The service was excellent and everything was timed perfectly so we wouldn't be late for our boat tour. A must-visit if you're in Chateauguay or looking for a unique and charming country experience.

I was a little disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. I have been here many times in the past and always loved it. However, today I had the osso bucco and found that the potatoes were not cooked properly and the dish was tasteless. My husband ordered the trout, which was dry and tasteless once we removed the thickly layered sauce. The salmon tar tar was just okay. I usually give this place 5 stars, but I'm not sure what went wrong today.

The place is very nice and peacefull. The food was delicious and the portions were actually massive. We tried the poke bowl, the burger Youville, Penne Tara and Nachos. All delicious. The service was good but not great. The food didn't arrive all at the same time. Picking up the plates after needed to be cued. But everyone was nice. Nice place.

My husband and I greatly recommend this place, the lady that helped us, Marie Ann, was very nice and pleasant, ah!. And she has a beautiful smile, just like in Mexico....ahe made me feel at home! Camadian/Mexican Thank you all!We will surely come back ?

Cold, rainy, November day, I grabbed a soup and it was absolutely divine. Love the modern and industrial interior design design with a touch of green leaves on the pipes. Place for board games as well.

I frequently visit this restaurant for a delicious meal. The waitstaff is friendly and the food is excellent! The parking is convenient as well. I highly recommend this place.

Thanks to all the staff, we have had a good evening, generous and delicious food. courteous and caring staff. It was fun to have a team dinner after so many months.
