A really good find in Cannes. It's a little off the beaten track but still only a 1 minute walk from rue d'Antibes, so still central. 2 very friendly (and hard working) hostesses/perhaps owners. A fairly small (and quite noisy) interior section. I guess in summer they use all the pavement space outside too. Good menu with quite a lot of Fois Gras, truffles and fish on offer. Good and well priced wine list. The fois-gras egg broth was sublime as a starter. The monkfish kebab was just a little overcooked in my opinion but the tomato and bisque sauce more than made up for that. Overall a really nice experience and will definitely be back.
Tucked away in a street off of Rue D'Antibes, Bistro Les Canailles serves up excellent food at a reasonable price. The menu is displayed on a sandwich board brought to your table for viewing. The escargot is served in a delicious pastry shell, no bread is needed. The beef with ravioli is served with a rich sauce and a melt in your mouth slab of slowed cooked beef, excellent! Good service in a refunded setting. Highly recommended.
This bistro deserves all the praise that it is receiving on Tripadvisor. We enjoyed French bistro food at its best. Our starters of the fois gras in red fruits and the egg cocotte were delicious. The main course of duck with orange and ginger was outstanding. Perfectly cooked duck, thinly sliced with a delicious jus. The cheese platter and a bottle of rose made a perfect meal. Highly recommended.
It's hard to tell from outside how pretty this place really is. It's one of those restaurants that the locals frequent, mainly because the food is consistently good. The daily specials are always yummy and the wines are also good. Haven't tried the desserts yet but they're huge and everyone always finishes them, so I think that speaks for itself.

Ate here on the recommendation of staff at our Hotel (Renoir) - just off the Rue D'Antibes - a cosy little restaurant / bar. Reasonably priced French / Mediterranean food which was really delicious - and the friendly staff translated the menu for us! Highly recommended

Stumbled upon this restaurant on my most recent trip to CannesIt's a lovely little place that feels more like a large dinning room than a restaurant.
A great place. Love the atmosphere and décor. The food is quite simply exquisite. The staff are great! An absolute must for when you are in Cannes!

Really good restaurant, went there las week (recommendation of George from the Hotel Cezanne), and everything was really great!
Very good kitchen. The chief walked away to find us a vegetarian dish. We've been very recussed.
