Happened upon this Italian bistro on Father's Day afternoon on our way home from a lacrosse jamboree at Ft Devens and a stop at Pure Hockey. It was very nice inside with plenty of tables and room, however we gladly opted for one of the cute outside tables. Tucked away in a plaza, just out of downtown Northborough. The greeting from our hostess was most friendly and Jessica provided great prompt table service, just the way you want to start your visit. Jessica made a nice white sangria for my wife and I enjoyed my Tanqueray and soda served in a mason jar glass. My husband and I made a reservation for Valentines Day. The menu looked very good, so thought we give it a try. The food was very good. We got a meatball appetizer that was good, but my husband thought could have been a bit warmer. I got chicken parmesean as I wanted to try out the red sauce, my husband got con pollo and broccoli. My chicken parm was amazing. Panko crust was delicious and crispy, the cheese was fresh and perfectly melted, all in all, the best I have had I 'm sure. Had a Valentine reservation, were greeted/seated promptly. Table a bit small but OK. Bread basket had 1 type of bread which is fine by us and the bread was good. We shared an appetizer, brussel sprouts, which we both enjoyed. My date had one of the V-day specials, sea bass. I ordered caesar salad and Chicken Sinatra which is one of the normal house specials. Sea bass was very good. Caesar salad was not good at all, not inedible, but the flavors I expected were not there. I order Caesar salad a lot. All the others have been similar; this was bland. There for two hours, for pasta, on a friday evening after we all worked all day. 6:30-8:30. Service was so slow. One hour to get our pasta dishes, though not many people in there, and waited five minutes for cheese after we got food! As italians, we know how long pasta takes. Manager said there was only one chef and offered free desserts. Would rather have had meals half comped. Not worth the cost and wait. Dont care what phantom gourmet says.

My wife and I enjoy trying new places and returning to ones that stick. This one will not be a return visit. The ambiance is well suited for a night out with no kids. The service, although prompt and attentive, seemed awkward at times. As for the food... I will not go into specifics, but the bread and oil before the meal, were the best part.
Once again we enjoyed excellent food and service. We were seated promptly unlike at a Westborough Italian restaurant where we no longer dine. Some visit, I will actually order another dish other than my favorite Sinatra chicken and sausage dish. Well, maybe.
Hidden gem. Great Italian food options. Not crowded. Downside was mocktails. It was strange it was not busy on a Saturday night. Liked dinner entree of overall service.
The chef refused to have a steak sauce of any type and the sides were tiny. Too many other great places in the area to go to. We will not return there.

Our dinners were very good. The waitress was just adequate. Looking forward to a return visit.
